• Hickory 64, Grove City 9 – At “The Hive” in Hermitage, the Hornets won 11 of the 13 matches in rolling past the Eagles.

Kayden Cominsky (113), defending state champ Louie Gill (120), Timmy Krivosh (126), Cody Miller (132), Petros Neofotishos (145), and Yuri Figueroa (215) won by fall for Hickory. Connor Saylor won by major decision at 138.

For Grove City, Hunter Hohman decisioned Carter Gill, 2-1, at 160 pounds and Nathan Stanton won by fall at 172.

Emily Anthony and Carlie Beatty led West Middlesex with 20 points each, Taylor Tomko contributed 7 points, and Caitlin Stephens chipped in 6. Anthony added 9 rebounds, 7 assists, and 5 steals while Beatty grabbed 7 rebounds.

Emma Santom and Delaney Callahan led Grove City with 8 points each while Ella Wise and Karis Perample added 4 each.

• Lakeview 57, Hickory 33 – At Stoneboro, Coach Gary Burke’s Region 4 Lady Sailors improved to 4-1 on Thursday night with the win over the Region 5 Hornets (3-3).

Lakeview led 17-7 at the end of the 1st quarter and 21-17 at halftime. The Lady Sailors rolled in the 2nd half, outscoring Hickory 36-16.

Reese Gadsby paced Lakeview with 18 points, Amber Sefton scored 14, and Emma Marsteller contributed 7 markers.

Malana Beach and McKenzie Gustas had 8 points each for Hickory and Mariah Swanson scored 7.
