The elementary team took 3rd place out of 6 teams at States which qualified them for Nationals. However, the team chose not to travel to Louisville, Ky., for the competition.

Clement Lattyak (elementary) and Katherine Hatfield (high school) both qualified for nationals as individual archers, shooting in the top 10 of their age divisions.

Katherine will compete on Saturday, while Clement will compete on Thursday and Friday.

This is only the 2nd year for the NASP Archery Program at the Grove City Area School District.

All three divisions have come a long way in the past two years, according to Gail Chutz, Grove City Middle School physical education instructor.
