Don’t be swayed to vote solely based on political advertising
Laureen P. Ference
May 21 is Primary Election Day. Is money driving which candidate will be elected locally?
It’s become the season of who has the most money to win over the voters of Mercer County using advertising and marketing. The season of who has the most billboards, signs, or mailers.
We as voters should be moved to vote for a candidate on his/her qualifications, past practice, work ethic, temperament, and moral standing not influenced or swayed by the biggest billboard, the most signs, and a flood of mailers.
Don’t be fooled by marketing gimmicks on May 21. Vote informed.
