Grove City

• Ryan Dugan, 28, of 609 Madison Ave., was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident at 5:49 p.m. Feb. 21 in front of his home, where he was found with inside a vehicle with marijuana and drug paraphernalia, police said.

State police, Mercer

• Charles J. Brockhaus, 30, of Fredonia, N.Y., was hurt after his southbound semi-truck crashed at 6:35 a.m. Feb. 23 on Interstate 79 in New Vernon Township, police said.

Brockhaus lost control of the truck when a deer ran into the road. The rolled onto its side, hitting an embankment in the median.

Brockhaus was treated at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Youngstown, for unknown injuries. He was cited with several traffic violations, police said.

• Someone hit two mailboxes at 8385 Lamor Road, East Lackawannock Township, around 11 a.m. Feb. 22, police said.

A witness reported that a gold or tan four-door sedan was backing out of a nearby parking lot when the accident happened; the car headed east toward Mercer. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-662-6162.

DRUNKEN DRIVING ARREST

• John Walters, 68, of Grove City; at 11:47 p.m. Feb. 23 on William Flynn Highway, Brady Township, police said.
