WOLF CREEK TOWNSHIP – No one was hurt in a fire that destroyed a Wolf Creek Township home last week.

The homeowner called 911 at 4:37 p.m. June 12 to report the fire at 33 E. Gilmore Road, said Nathaniel Addleman, assistant chief of the Pine Township Volunteer Engine Company.

She was able to safely escape; her name was not immediately available.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and the home was a total loss.

Firefighters from Grove City, Mercer, Jackson Center, Springfield Township, Sandy Lake, Clintonville, Slippery Rock, Volant, and Stoneboro assisted, Addleman said.
