These area residents have been recognized for their academic achievements:

• Kaitlin Wiggins, a 2015 graduate of Mercer High School, graduated April 28 from the University of Pittsburgh magna cum laude with a bachelor of science degree and high honors in economics. She completed a dual major of economics and political science with a minor in history.

During her college career, she was named to the dean’s list and was a member of Golden Key International, which recognizes the top 15 percent of the junior class.

Wiggins was also a member of Sigma Alpha Lambda, Phi Eta Sigma, the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and the pre-law chapter of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International.

She plans to continue her education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

• Cassandra Wolowic of Grove City graduated on May 12 from Saint Francis University, Loretto, Pa., with a master’s degree in occupational therapy.

• Anne Behre of Slippery Rock was named to the dean’s list at Lehigh University, Bethlehem, Pa., for the spring 2019 semester.

• Katie McClelland of Stoneboro was named to the spring 2019 dean’s list at the Chatham University School of Arts, Science and Business in Pittsburgh.

• Floyd B. Kish of Grove City graduated May 25 from the University of Scranton with a master of science degree in educational administration.

• These residents graduated May 18 from Grove City College:
