New Lebanon Community hosts worship event

SANDY LAKE – New Lebanon Community Church, 4166 Mercer St., Sandy Lake, will host a worship event from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. today.

Worship will be led by Anthony Evans Jr., and there will be a simulcast with Priscilla Shirer.

The event includes breakfast, lunch and snacks. Donations will be accepted to help with expenses.

Lakeview Lenten Lunch programs continue

The Lakeview Area Ministerium weekly Lenten Lunch programs will begin promptly at noon and conclude at 1 p.m.

This includes a lunch, complete with dessert, fellowship around the table and a mini message from one of the community pastors.

There is a free-will offering, with donations shared between the ministerium and Helping Hands.

The schedule, which includes a location and the guest speaker for the day, is as follows:

• Wednesday: Coolspring Presbyterian Church – Sally Bell

• April 17: Clarks Mills United Methodist Church – speaker to be announced.

Night of Praise at Helping Hands Center

STONEBORO – Lakeview Area Helping Hands Center’s Night of Praise is set for 6:30 p.m. May 5 at Clarks Mills United Methodist Church, 3813 Hadley Road, Clarks Mills.

There will be a free-will offering.

Seneca church plans revival night

SENECA – Church of His Glory, 122 S. Main St., Seneca, is planning a night of revival at 7 p.m. Friday.

The preacher at the event will be minister and revivalist Tanya D’Attilio.

GC food pantry to deliver Easter meals

GROVE CITY – The Grove City Community Food Pantry will distribute Easter meals to clients 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and 9 to 11 a.m. April 13.

The food pantry serves 515 families in the Grove City Area School District.

To ensure all families can enjoy a traditional Easter dinner, the pantry is asking for the following donations: hams, stuffing, yams, mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry sauce, green beans, cake mix and icing, mushroom soup, and Easter candy.

Items can be dropped off at the pantry or Thrifty Threads. Both are located at 114 S. Center St.
