JACKSON  CENTER – A sunrise service in the Jackson Center Presbyterian Church will be at 7:30 a.m., April 21, Easter morning, followed by a light breakfast. The Easter morning worship service is at 9:15 a.m.

Singer Dan Schall to perform in Harrisville

HARRISVILLE – Music on Main Street and Harrisville United Methodist Church will presents Dan Schall at 6 p.m. May 5. Admission is free, but a love offering will be received.

National Day of Prayer to be observed in GC

GROVE CITY – National Day of Prayer will be held May 2 at Joseph D. Monteleone Pavilion in Grove City Memorial Park. Worship begins at 11 a.m. (snacks will be provided) and the prayer event will run from noon to 1:15 p.m.

Dress accordingly to weather. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held at First Church of God, 1333 W. Main St., Grove City, by the park.

Grove City church to hold hand bell concert

GROVE CITY – Come out and enjoy a free spring hand bell concert at 3 p.m. May 5 at Tower Presbyterian Church, 248 S. Broad St., Grove City. Choirs participating include the Revelation Ringers (a group of local college students), the Celebration Community Ringers, the Glenn Memorial Ringers of Tower Presbyterian Church, and renowned hand bell soloist Sue Garton.

Child to teach on Christian cable network

Liam Macatar, a 7-year-old, will teach on Crossing Paths TV, Hermitage, on Sunday at 8:30 a.m. on FOX-WKBN (WYFS), Youngstown, also on Dish and DirecTV in some areas.

He will also appear on Cornerstone TV, Ch. 5, Spectrum and Comcast, UHF 29 at noon, Sunday.

Sheakleyville United Methodist Church will hold a Good Friday service at 7 p.m. this evening; Prayer Stations, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at North Salem United Methodist Church and Easter Sunrise Service at 7 a.m. Sunday at Kennard United Methodist Church followed by breakfast; 9 a.m. Sunday at North Salem United Methodist Church followed by Easter activities and egg hunt, and 11 a.m. Sunday at Sheakleyville United Methodist Church.

Night of Praise at Helping Hands Center

STONEBORO – Lakeview Area Helping Hands Center’s Night of Praise is set for 6:30 p.m. May 5 at Clarks Mills United Methodist Church, 3813 Hadley Road, Clarks Mills.

There will be a free-will offering.

Easter service: ‘He’s still rolling stones’

Chapel on the Hill invites the community to attend “He’s Still Rolling Stones” on Easter Sunday, April 21. Attendees will hear an exciting testimony presentation of how Jesus is still rolling stones and doing the impossible today. Included will be a presentation by an adult choir and the kids’ church.

There will also be a sunrise service at 7:30 a.m. with donuts and coffee afterwards.

Pastor Chris Clark and the congregation invite all to join them for these special Easter services celebrating the Lord’s death and resurrection. Chapel on the Hill is located right off I-80 at exit 42, just above the Emlenton truck plaza on Rt. 208.

Grace Harvest to hold Blessing of the Bikes 

MERCER – Grace Harvest church announces a Blessing of the Bikes at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 28. Free hot dogs, chips, cookies, pop and water will be provided. Grace Harvest is located at 2396 Leesburg-Grove City Road in Mercer.
