Garage sale to aid girls’ home set for Aug. 8-9

A yard sale to benefit The Laura Walker Project in Grove City will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 8 and 9 at 610 E. Main St. Ext., Grove City, about a half mile east of Grove City YMCA.

Items for sale will range from clothes for toddlers, children and adults to holiday decorations to kitchen wares, home decor, TVs, furniture and more.

Donations are still being accepted for the sale. Contact Jessica Hartle at 724-992-0651 for drop-off information.

The Laura Walker Project is a maternity group home for pregnant and mothering teens, in the works for Grove City. All donations and community support are greatly appreciated.

Donations needed for GC Pet Rescue yard sale

Grove City Area Pet Rescue will have a fundraising yard sale from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 8 at Grove City Memorial Park.

The group seeks donations of leftover yard sale items or other unwanted items. To donate, call Lori Reynolds at 724-748-3610.
