Learn meaning of life at Grove City YMCA

Many of us search for truth and comfort in this life, and often settle for less.

Together with the YMCA, the Grove City community is exploring the meaning of life in a low-key, friendly and fun environment.

Join your community this January and begin to discuss the difficult questions in life as we grow with one another and explore the Christian faith. You do not have to be a member of the YMCA, nor a church-goer to attend this series. You just need to hunger for more in this life.

The series takes place at 7 a.m. Tuesdays, Jan. 13, until March 24, at Grove City YMCA. Session run less than one hour. Complimentary continental breakfast is provided.

Allegheny quartet holding concert in Springfield

The Allegheny Boys Quartet will be in concert at 7 p.m. Jan. 17 at the Church of God of Prophecy, Route 208, Springfield Township. The concert will be free, but a free-will offering will be taken.

New Castle singers coming to Harrisville

The Robinsons, led by Wilma and Don Robinson, New Castle, will be singing at Harrisville United Methodist Church, 301 S. Main St., at 7 p.m. Jan. 18.

River Boys to sing gospel music at SL Presby

The Gospel River Boys will be in concert at Sandy Lake Presbyterian Church at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 18.

The boys perform about 140 concerts a year, singing a variety of original southern gospel songs, as well as current and classic hits. They travel the U.S. concert halls, auditoriums, churches and fairs, and have been seen on several TV networks, including the Gospel Music Television Network.
