     Sadly, trust seems to be more obvious in our society today by its absence.

In May, we remember and pay honor to the men and women who have paid the highest price and made the ultimate sacrifice by giving their lives for our country.
They died defending our country and its ideals, freedoms and people.

Passover is undoubtedly one of the greatest types of the redemptive work of Jesus Christ.

We are entering into the passion week and in our text we find Jesus riding a colt coming into Jerusalem.
What an exciting event this must have been for the people of Jerusalem.
Could you just imagine the excitement in the air?
Jesus, the Messiah, was coming.

Romans 5:3-5: “We know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit whom he has given us.”
Most of us can expect a good measure of pleasant circumstances and experiences in 2008. But whatever path we find ourselves on in the new year, it is sure also to have its share of roots, pot holes, confusing twists and turns, and other kinds of debris.

Change is a part of life. When we plan for change to occur, there are adjustments that come as we transition between what has been and what will be. Even when we plan for change, adjustments are sometimes difficult.

A discussion was held Saturday at a Mercer-area church in the hopes of taking the mystery out of Orthodox Christianity.
