WORTHINGTON, Pa. — Obituary was published April 28, 2010.
Eugene Jessie Knight, Greenville, formerly of Leesburg, died Saturday, April 24, 2010, in Sugar Creek Rest Home, Worthington, Pa. He was 52.
He was born Jan. 23, 1958, in Grove City, to Clarence Earl and Dorothy Irene Hedglin Knight.
He was a laborer. As a young man he worked in the family business, Knight Concrete and Block Construction.
He enjoyed racing, football, bowling, bingo and fishing.
He loved spending time with his friends.
He is survived by: three sisters, Naomi (James) Dulaney, Grove City; Linda Haggerty, Greenville; and Cindy (Dale) Elder, West Sunbury; three brothers, Richard “Ricky” (Linda) Knight, Grove City; Gerald “Jerry” Knight; and his twin James “Jim” (Tammy) Knight, Volant; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Sandy.
Calling hours were Monday (4-26-10) at Smith Funeral Home of Leesburg, Springfield Township.
Funeral service was Tuesday (4-27-10) at the funeral home with Rev. James Lewis, pastor of the West Liberty United Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment in Carpenter Cemetery, Springfield Township.
