Lois B. Walters, Hall Road, Findley Township, formerly a 50-year resident of Harvard Street, Grove City, died at 11 p.m. Sunday, April 27, 2008, at home. She was 86.
Mrs. Walters was born April 8, 1922, in Grove City to Stephen and Beatrice Holcraft Cozad.
She was a graduate of Grove City High School’s Class of 1940. She attended Grove City College, where she played in the orchestra.
She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Walters enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting antiques and going to yard sales.
Her husband, Clayton R. Walters, whom she married in 1942, died Aug. 15, 1992.
Surviving are: three children, Pamela Reisinger, wife to Don, Champion, Ohio; Joyce Bartolone, wife to Michael, Millerstown, Pa.; and Bradley C. Walters, husband to Doris, Mercer; six grandchildren; a sister, Fern Stiht, Palm Beach, Fla.; and nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial service was Saturday (5-17-08) in Cunningham Funeral Home Inc., 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City, with the Rev. Willard Morse, visitation pastor of Grace United Methodist Church, Grove City, officiating.
