EAST LACKAWANNOCK —
Craig Allen Wolfe-Loughrey, Fredonia, passed away unexpectedly at 11:40 a.m. Saturday (12-8-12) in East Lackawannock Township. He was 7.
Craig was born Feb. 9, 2005 in Corry, Erie County.
He was in the second grade at Reynolds Elementary School.
"Craig was a unique person with an incredible spirit. He loved super heroes, drawing, his family, ninjas and his pets. He could often be seen dressed up in his ninja or Batman costume playing in front of his house or at the park in Fredonia. He loved chocolate chip cookies, corn dogs or anything homemade. Craig was very enthusiastic about recycling and being healthy. He loved every holiday and couldn't wait for it to snow. He will be forever in his family's hearts."
He is survived by his mother, Amanda J. Loughrey and her partner Heather Groeger, at home; his father, Joseph V. Loughrey, Jefferson Township; his brothers, Paul Groeger and Jack Gamble, both at home; his maternal grandparents, John and Susan Davis, Stoneboro; his paternal grandmother, Lois Loughrey, Pittsburgh; several loving aunts, uncles and cousins; and his beloved cat Smedley, whom he loved very much.
There were no calling hours. All services were private with the Rev. Susan M. Hoover, pastor, Methodists United in Faith.
Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fairview Township.
