BEN AVON, Pa. — Dolores I. Croyle of Ben Avon, formerly of Grove City, died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013. She was 80.

Mrs. Croyle was born in Grove City.

She was a 1954 graduate of Grove City College, with a degree in music.

Mrs. Croyle was a music teacher, piano instructor, church soloist and member of the Pittsburgh Concert Chorale and the Ingomar United Methodist Church, North Hills in Allegheny County.

She was the beloved wife of the late Rev. Rodney J. Croyle; loving mother of David and Karen Croyle; sister of Philip Shawgo; and is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Loyal and Elsie Shawgo; and a brother, Glendon Shawgo.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to American Diabetes Association, 1701 N. Beauregard St., Alexandria, VA 22311.

Calling hours: Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today (11-27-13) in ORION C. PINKERTON FUNERAL HOME Inc., 1014 California Ave., Avalon, Pa. A second visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to time of service Friday (11-29-13) in CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME Inc., 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City.

Service: Funeral service at noon Friday in the funeral home.

Interment: Will follow at Crestview Memorial Park, Pine Township.
