Grove City woman retired from Cooper Energy

BUTLER — Charlotte M. Critchlow, a Grove City resident since 1940, passed away at 6:15 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013, in Newhaven Court at Clearview, Butler. She was 95.

Mrs. Critchlow was born July 12, 1918, in Etna, Pa., to John S. MacDonald and Estelle E. Carmichael MacDonald.

She retired on July 31, 1983, from Cooper Energy Services, Grove City, where she was a secretary for almost 20 years.

Charlotte was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Mercer.

She formerly was a member of the Junior Women's Club and served on the advisory board of Grove City Youth Center.

Surviving are two daughters, Coleen Black and her husband Robert M., Grove City; and Carol Mahoney and her husband Donald, Slippery Rock; and three grandchildren, Lindsay K. Walter and her husband Brad, Kittanning; Molly E. Black, Grove City; and Jill S. Mahoney, Slippery Rock.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert and Glenn MacDonald; and a sister, Ruth Moyer.

Calling hours: Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday (11-8-13) in CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME Inc., 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City.

Service: Memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday (11-9-13) in Jehovah's Witnesses-Kingdom Hall, 1431 Mercer-Grove City Road, Mercer.
