GROVE CITY — Maria 'Helen' Kimmell, Grove Manor, Grove City, formerly of Stockton Avenue, Grove City, passed away at 6:55 p.m. Friday, April 26 at home. She was 79.

Mrs. Kimmell was born August 13, 1933 in Margarita, Holland. She was a homemaker. Her family was her life and she enjoyed being with them.

Helen was of the Roman Catholic faith. She retired in 1996 from Grove City College where she was a housekeeper.

She is survived by two daughters, Margaret Schooley and her husband James, Volant and Michelle Kays and her husband Jeffrey, Grove City; three sons, David Kimmell and his wife Dawn, Fredonia, Donald Kimmell and his wife Janet, Mercer, Douglas Kimmell and Jamie Moore, Glenns Falls, New York; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Collette Menzel, Annie and Lea Kreuwels, Monchen-gladbach, Germany.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; three sisters; one grandson, James W. Schooley; and one granddaughter, Megan M. Kays.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Christian Loving Fund, c/o Grove Manor Nursing Home, Grove City, PA  16127.

Service: Was Tuesday (4-30-13) in the funeral home, with the Rev. Fr. Michael Allison, of Church of the Beloved Disciple, as celebrant.
