PINE — Jane Ann Whatton Moser of Pine Township, passed away at 11:28 a.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2013, in Orchard Manor, Pine Township, where she was a resident the past 14 months. She was 84.

Mrs. Moser was born Oct. 21, 1928, in Sharon to James J. Whatton and Gertrude F. Jones Whatton.

Jane was a graduate of Sharon High School, class of 1946, and Grove City College, class of 1950, where she majored in music.

A homemaker, she was a member of Tower Presbyterian Church, Grove City, and was an organist and member of Order of the Eastern Star.

Jane loved to play the piano. She sang in the church choir and liked sewing clothes for her kids and husband. She enjoyed painting ceramics, knitting sweaters and socks and crocheting.

Her husband, John Moser, whom she married Nov. 3, 1950, in the Oakland Avenue Methodist Church, Sharon, survives at home.

Also surviving are: three children, Debra Beers and her husband Terry, Sewell, N.J.; Jean Padden and her husband David, Mechanicsburg, Pa.; and John Moser Jr. and his wife Tina, Grove City; six grandchildren, Cheryl Backensto, Kristin Atoique, Jason Padden, Janel Hart, Tyler Moser and Megan Moser; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Patricia Jean Moser; and two brothers, James and Frank Whatton.

Memorial contributions may be made in Jane's memory to Tower Presbyterian Church, 248 S. Broad St., Grove City, PA 16127.

Calling hours: 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday (7-22-13) in CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME Inc., 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City.

Service: Funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday (7-23-13) in the funeral home.

Interment: Hillcrest Memorial Park Inc., Hermitage.
