GROVE CITY — Louise J. Craig of Harrisville, formerly of Boyers, passed away at 9:05 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2013, in Trinity Living Center, Grove City, after an extended illness. She was 88.

Mrs. Craig was born Nov. 22, 1924, in Hilliards, Butler County, to Charles and Esther Hoover McKean.

She was a homemaker and of the Roman Catholic faith. Louise enjoyed flowers and gardening and liked spending time with her family and friends.

Her husband, Victor Charles Craig, whom she married Nov. 26, 1941, passed away Jan. 9, 1993.

Surviving are: four children, Delores Metheney and her husband Albert, Meadville; Shirley Belcher and her husband Thomas, Grove City; Victor “Gordie” Craig and his wife Nanci, Harrisville; and Karen Nagy and her husband Melvin, Harrisville; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Mary McKean, in Delaware.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, Charles McKean and Esther Hoover McKean-Mitchell; a daughter, Patricia Louise Sankey; and two brothers, Charles and Sammy McKean.

Calling hours: Family will received friends Monday (7-15-13) in CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME Inc., 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City.

Service: Funeral service was Monday in the funeral home, with the Rev. Willard Morse officiating.

Interment: Epiphany Cemetery, Boyers.
