Stoneboro-area man was special education teacher

WORTH TWP — Douglas E. Hart, Worth Township, Mercer County, formerly of South Park, Pa., passed away at home of natural causes Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012.

Born in Pittsburgh, Pa he was the son of Edward Eugene "Gene" and Una Eileen Jack Hart.

Mr. Hart was a 1967 graduate of South Park High School and a graduate of Slippery Rock State College with a degree in education.

He began his career as a special education teacher and then moved into a position with the ARC foundation of Pittsburgh and retired as an Administrative Manager for Mercy Behavioral Health.

Douglas is survived by two sisters: Donna J. Fenger, wife of Mitchell, Camarillo, Calif.; and Diane E. Hall, Palm Gardens, Nev.

At his request before his death, no services were held.

Inurnment in Crestview Memorial Park, Pine Township.
