CABOT, Pa. — August A. Guzzie, Jr., Grove City, since June of 2012, formerly of Valencia, died at 7:27 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2013 in Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia, Cabot, Pa., after having an illness since November of 2011. He was 75.

Mr. Guzzie was born Feb. 16, 1938 in Blawnox, Allegheny County, to August A. and Dorothy Kober Guzzie.

He married Mary Elizabeth Dedo on March 12, 1982.

He retired 1996 from Westinghouse Nuclear Power Division, Monroeville, where he was a technician for 36 years.

Mr. Guzzie was a Catholic.

He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an avid Steelers and West Virginia Mountaineer's fan.

Surviving are: his wiife, Mary Elizabeth; two daughters, Melissa G. Chutz, wife of Ben, Grove City; and Tina Clark, wife of Mark, Kittanning; five granddaughters; and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private funeral service.
