Daniel A. Dietrich

Stoneboro man was truck driver, enjoyed hunting

STONEBORO — Daniel A. Dietrich of Stoneboro passed away early Monday morning, Dec. 30, 2013, in his home of natural causes. He was 55.

Born June 9, 1958, in Butler, Mr. Dietrich was a son of Albert Charles and Helen Elizabeth Wagner Dietrich.

He was a graduate of Freeport (Pa.) High School.

Mr. Dietrich drove truck for many years. He hauled heavy equipment for Keen Transport some years ago, a job he enjoyed the most.

He was a beloved husband and father and enjoyed hunting and wildlife and his puppies. Daniel also enjoyed going to his camp and riding around scouting for deer, turkey, bear or whatever else he spotted.

His wife, the former Rebekah L. Fleischman, whom he married Aug. 18, 1984, survives at home.

Survivors also include a daughter, Angela Marie Dougherty and her husband Matthew, Fredonia; six grandchildren, Rebekah Rose, Jasmine Elizabeth, Heidi Natalie, John Edward, Joseph Daniel and Robert Terry; and four sisters, Sue Marcinko and her husband Danny and their daughter Emmy; Karen Pierce and her husband Fred and their daughter Jessica; and Janet Dietrich, all Sarver, Butler County; and Barbara Harvey and her husband Les, Cabot, Butler County.

His parents preceded him in death.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many.
