Funeral is today for Thomas Plummer McCullough of 724 Franklin Road, Coolspring Township (Mercer), who passed away at 7:15 a.m. Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, in Grove Manor, Grove City, after a brief illness. He was 95.
Mr. McCullough was born Jan. 2, 1919, in Mercer to Michael Plummer McCullough and Kathryn Wilson McCullough.
He was employed at George J. Howe Co. in Grove City as a plant manager and was a self-employed farmer.
Mr. McCullough was the oldest member of Coolspring Presbyterian Church, Fairview Township, and was a 4-H leader. For many years, he was a poultry exhibitor at the Great Stoneboro Fair. He belonged to Northwest Cattleman's Association and Jackson Center Grange 1506.
His wife, the former Helen Marie Foster, whom he married Aug. 4, 1945, died Feb. 4, 2006.
Surviving are: two daughters, Joyce, wife of Terry Remaley, Seneca; and Karen, wife of Jonathan Stewart, Grove City; two sons, Carl McCullough and his wife Rosemary, Waterloo, N.Y.; and William McCullough, Mercer; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Besides his wife, Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Paul and Harold McCullough.

Calling hours: Were Tuesday (1-28-14) in CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME Inc., 144 S. Pitt St., Mercer, and at 10 a.m. to time of service today (1-29-14) in Coolspring Presbyterian Church, 787 Coolspring Church Road, Fairview Township.
Service: Funeral service at 11 a.m. today in the church with the Rev. John Creekpaum, pastor, and Rev. Philip Chalfant, retired pastor, co-officiating.
Interment: Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Jackson Township.
