Carved in Ice Event

Butler County will host its 3rd annual free Carved in Ice from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday on South Main Street in Butler on the Diamond, across from the Butler County Courthouse. DiMartino Ice Company will carve ice sculptures. A chili cook off, wine tasting, vendors and much more. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Bentley's Place Playground Project & AM Rotary's Backpack Initiative. The complete list of events is at www.visitbutlercounty.com

Baseball signups

Harrisville Bulldog baseball sign-ups will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Harrisville American Legion building across from the Slippery Rock University building on Prairie Street (across from the former Har-Mer Elementary building).

Sweetheart Dance

The American Legion in Harrisville is hosting a Sweetheart Dance from 9 p.m. to midnight Friday, Feb. 16. Grab that special someone and come on out for a date night. Juvenile Characteristics will play.

Shear Da Beard

Football is over so it is time to attend Brett Keisel’s 8th annual Shear Da Beard at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16 at Jergel’s Rhythm Grille, 103 Slade Lane in Warrendale. This year's special guest will be Phil Bourque, Pittsburgh Penguins radio analyst. Entertainment: Chris Jamison, Donnie Iris and Totally 80's. There will also be surprise celebrity barbers. Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets are $50. Those under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Chris Jamison, Donnie Iris, and Totally '80s will be the entertainment for the night. All proceeds benefit Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
