Learn to keep well water safe

Free webinars set for 1 p.m. Jan. 28, Feb. 4 and Feb. 26

MERCER COUNTY AREA — Registration is open for free National Ground Water Association webinars to help household water well owners keep their water safe.

The first is at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 28.

Presenter Michael Schnieders is a professional geologist and hydrologist, and senior consultant for Water Systems Engineering in Ottawa, Kan. Participants will learn what every well owner should test for and how to determine what is locally occurring and worthy of testing. -- 1 p.m. Feb. 4: “Treating Well Water: Where Do You Begin?”

Presenter: Gary Hix is a registered geologist, certified well driller and pump installer, and immediate past president of the Arizona Water Well Association.

 There is no one-size-fits-all water treatment system. This webinar will help you learn some key fundamentals in selecting the right water treatment system to protect your water quality.

Gary Hix is a registered geologist, certified well driller and pump installer, and immediate past president of the Arizona Water Well Association.  Water wells are expertly engineered systems that sometimes require maintenance. Learn how to stay on top of maintenance needs to protect water quality.
