■ Feed My Sheep Summer Lunch Program
Feed My Sheep Summer Lunch Program at the Harrisville Park is having great success. There have been 43 children attending with an average of 20 each day. Lunch runs Monday to Friday, with the exception of July 4th.
Lunch is served at noon. More children are welcome and encouraged to join in on the food and fun. If your child would like to sign up please see Bob Barnes at the Harrisville Branch of First National Bank on Fridays or you may contact Feed My Sheep Food Cupboard at the Slippery Rock Park location.
The program is for children 18 and under and it provides a nutritious lunch while school is out for the summer. Children may also sign up by coming to Harrisville Park any day the program is open and talking with Bob. A big thank you goes out to L.D. Williams from Dragon Fly Balloons who made balloon shapes for the kids this past Friday.
This program is a great way for the children to interact, play games or just use the playground after the meal.
